Quality
Rosetti Marino Quality System is certified by LRQA according to ISO 9001:2008.
To properly manage projects, Rosetti usually puts in place dedicated Project Teams, under the guide of a Project Manager, responsible for the safety, qualitative, economical and technical performance of the project.
On the other hand, projects are part of an organization that is larger than the project itself. In this way Rosetti maintains a structured Functional Organization that guarantees high specialized competence, continuous training, knowledge improvement and maximum efficiency in human and technical resources utilization (vertical organizational dimension).
To rule operative activities and assure the correct attribution of responsibility, Rosetti has identified its Processes, split into Strategic Processes, Main Processes and Auxiliary Processes.
Strategic Processes
Provide guidelines as to strategic and operational policy and their implementation, QHSE System implementation and the Company status review and continual improvement.
Main Processes
Processes in the value chain. They characterize the field the company operates in. Clearly define the main activities, actors, responsibilities, battery limits, monitoring system and key performance indicators.
Auxiliary Processes
They ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the main processes.
A large part of such processes have been formalized in relevant Procedures and Work Instructions, in order to identify clear sequences of activities, battery limits, responsibilities, inputs and outputs.
Each company process has a clearly identified “Process Manager” and its relevant Job Description.
The Process Manager is the Rosetti person which assures the proper management of the company process since he is entitled to manage, change and improve the efficiency of the process.
Additionally, the QHSE Manual clearly identifies procedures to be strictly followed in order to perform WORK to the required standard.
For every project the whole organization is strongly committed to Quality and HSE management both within Rosetti offices and facilities and at its sub-contractors’ and suppliers’ premises.
In every project the QHSE Department assigns a Project QA/QC Manager who shall :
· prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan with the support of the Quality System Manager;
· liaise with the Client, with subcontractors and with vendors, as agreed with the Project Manager, as far as quality-related matters are concerned;
· ensure that all personnel have the specifications, procedures and work instructions to be referred to for the project execution available;
· verify that personnel are trained and motivated to the use of Quality System and, if necessary, propose to arrange training courses to the Quality System Manager;
· handle project non-conformities and, if necessary, undertake suitable corrective actions in order to avoid their recurrence and follow their implementation;
· supervise Project Quality Control activities and report to the Project Manager;
· liaise with the Supplies Management Department as to the management of Client’s and Certifying Agencies’ approval of documents issued by the vendors;
· liaise with Client’s Inspectors and with Certifying Agencies at to all the activities carried out by the Project Quality Control Department;
· prepare the final dossier in accordance with the procedure issued for the Project and with corporate standards.
